Table of contents
I’m thrilled to announce that you can now listen to selected episodes of English Learning for Curious Minds on LingQ.
If you haven’t heard of it before, LingQ is a language learning tool co-founded by the well-known polyglot Steve Kaufmann.
It allows you to access a huge range of interesting content, with everything from the BBC to CNN.
And now…English Learning for Curious Minds.
How it works
At the moment there is a small selection of episodes of English Learning for Curious Minds available on LingQ.
You open up a lesson, press play, and you can hover over unknown words and see a definition in your own language.
You can add words to your own personal “vocabulary list”, and review them later on using LingQ’s intuitive system.
Why this is exciting
If you are the sort of person who follows “language learning” content, you will probably have seen interviews with Steve Kaufmann. He speaks 20 languages, and is a huge advocate of the power of learning in context.
LingQ and Leonardo English have a shared belief in the power of compelling input, and it’s very exciting to see how people will use the power of the LingQ platform combined with the stories we tell in English Learning for Curious Minds.
